Just days remain until the final round of the British Supercross Championships at the LG Arena this Saturday night February 18th and the entry list is stacked.

Neville Bradshaw as mentioned earlier this week will be looking to seal the deal in the British Supercross Lights class and British Supercross combined overall points standings but will have his work cut out for him with KTM’s defending Supercross Champ Tom Church who looks set to claim his second British Open title. In addition, Sheffield Supercross winner Buff/Wulfsport Honda rider Adam Chatfield has made his way home from America for the final round of the series. Tyco Suzuki superstar Stephen Sword will also round out the championship looking for his first win of the series after winning the final round at Liverpool last season.

Dave Thorpe’s Buildbase Honda star Nico Aubin is looking to steal Bradshaw’s thunder as the two Honda riders sit just a few points apart in both the Lights and overall standings. Maxxis Apico Suzuki boss Rob Hooper has enlisted Washington State’s Joey Ruminer services to put the Suzuki RMZ250 on top of the podium for the final round. Ruminer has been busy competing in many indoor events across the Pacific Northwest in America this winter and is excited for the opportunity provided by Hooper for the final round. “Crockstar” Gordon Crockard put in a great ride in Belfast and looks to improve this weekend. Jack Brunell who has struggled so far this year will be out for redemption on his Rabbit Racing No Fear Kawasaki. Rounding out the green team will be long time British Supercrosser Ryan Voase and Head to Head superstar Ashley Greedy on the LPE Kawasaki.

Any way you cut it the racing is going to be fantastic this weekend. To get your tickets contact The Ticket Factory on 0844 338 8000.

MORE POWER FOR BRITISH SUPERCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP

Rabbit Racing Kawasaki’s Jack Brunell is no stranger to the podium at British and European Supercross events which includes a win at Belfast last year and runner up in the German Championships. Jack’s recent addition of a KX450F to his Supercross stable could put him back on top of the podium in the open class for the final round of the British Supercross just three weeks away at the super comfortable LG Arena in Birmingham on Saturday February 18th.

Brunell may not be the only rider jacking up the horsepower in the open class. Defending champ Red Bull KTM’s Tom Church is rumoured to be considering bringing out a bigger orange bike for the final night at Birmingham in an effort to retain his SX1 championship. 450cc seems to trending in the Supercross ranks stay tuned to see who’s next to increase the ponies.

Excitement is growing for the final round of the UK’s official British Supercross Championship at Birmingham’s LG Arena on Saturday February 18th. Series purse and Championship titles are on the line as the British Supercross Championship draws to a close for the 16th consecutive year.

After two rounds of the shortened British Supercross Championship Evotech Stevens Honda pilot Neville Bradshaw has emerged as the man to beat in the overall combined standings. Following Bradshaw in combined points and tied for first in the British Supercross Lights class is fellow Honda rider Nico Aubin of Dave Thorpe’s Buildbase Honda team. The likeable Frenchman has shown incredible speed and style so far winning the British Supercross Lights main event at Belfast back in November. Rounding out the podium in overall points is defending British Supercross champ Red Bull HM Plant KTM rider Tom Church. Church had an off night at Belfast ringing his bell with a crash in the qualifiers but managed to lineup for the British Supercross main taking a well earned 3rd spot.

Maxxis Henderson LPE Kawasaki’s Ashley Greedy returned to his winning ways in Belfast not in the two main events but taking the popular head to head victory over Irishman Stuart Edmonds. Greedy now sits 4th in points just ahead of fellow Kawasaki rider Rabbit No Fear’s Jack Brunnel. The defending Lights champ is close to cracking the podium but unfortunate circumstances have held the Londoner just outside the top three.

7 points separate 6-10th in the overall standings. Buff WulfSport Honda rider Adam Chatfield is set to return to for the final round after missing Belfast due to injury. The refreshed Chatfield will look to continue on after a very successful outing at the first round at Sheffield back in October. Maxxis Apico Suzuki fill in Stuart Edmonds has steadily made a name for himself in the head to head competition making the head to head final at Sheffield and Belfast. Edmonds sits 8th in overall points. Maxxis Henderson LPE Kawasaki rider Martin Barr has had terrible luck so far this season. Great qualifiers and bad luck in the mains do not show the effort Barr has put forward so far.

The Ironman of British Supercross has to be James Dunn who quietly leads the Youth Lights championship with a clean sheet and also sits 5th overall in the British Supercross Lights class. In addition to Youth Lights and British Supercross Lights Dunn also sits 11 in the British Supercross class. Tyco Suzuki rider Stephen Sword got back on track after a disastrous start in Sheffield. After not making either main at Sheffield the speedy Scot went out and qualified for both main events in Belfast rounding up 30 point for his title fight. Swordy showed his talents last year taking the win at the final round of the series in Liverpool.
